The sound quality of 5/16/72 is astonishingly good. Perhaps the very best of all of what circulates from the Europe '72 tour and I dare say including the official releases? Its got a live wire mix!

The show is bit shorter compared to other performances on the tour. But all the numbers are extremely well executed and are played at a tempo just a bit faster than was normal for that tour, giving it a vibe just a bit unique to the other Europe shows. Definately my favorite China/Rider of the tour, the Truckin' and Other One are both stand outs as well.

Although the Radio Luxembourg performance is not jammed at the level of the very best shows like Tivolis and Rotterdam, its up there. And while there wasnt a bad note played on that entire tour, that Munich performance on 5/18, is indeed excellent with a fine Dark Star> Morning Dew, it still falls just a touch short in my opinion.

Jerry's solo in MAMU is pretty sweet, imho.
